Alternatively, you can send us a cheque: Made out to ‘BATIAS Independent Advocacy Service’ and posted to our Grays address found on the contact us page.
Shop Online: You can now shop online for BATIAS clothes such as a zippered fleece hoodie top, a polo shirt or a round neck sweater with the BATIAS logo. BATIAS receives 5% back of all purchases, so this is a great way to support BATIAS.

BATIAS receives funding from grants and local authority funding to provide some of our services, however, we also aim to raise over £50,000 per year from public donations, to meet this target we do a variety of fundraising activities which you can be a part of.
Fundraising Events: From organising or helping at fundraising events – such as pub quizzes, cake sales or a sponsored run – to adopting BATIAS as your school or business charity, there are many ways you can contribute.
Our Fundraising Pack – which is available to download from our website through this link – contains over a hundred tried and tested ideas together with professional fundraising know-how and practical information to help you run a successful event.
You can also share our Donate Now PayPal link to encourage your friends and family to make a donation.
5p Collection Box Challenge: These little collection boxes provide the perfect home for your unwanted change, and in particular, your 5p pieces, which research reveals the coin most people love to hate! Small change = Big difference. To request your 5p collection box please contact the Grays office found on the contact us page
Co-op Membership charity giving: you can become a member at your local co-op for just £1 and every time you shop you can raise 1% of your spend for your chosen charity (you can search for charities local to you to find BATIAS Zero 5 club). You can also get: 5% reward on purchases a share in the Co-op’s profits the right to vote on how the Co-op does business

Over 2,000 retailers participate in this scheme, including Marks & Spencer, Argos, Amazon and John Lewis. You can also use ‘Give as you live’ to make donations to BATIAS whilst doing your online shopping.
You can also take part in the Essex Lottery for £1 a week and raise funds for BATIAS, whilst having a chance to win up to £25,000. The draw is pulled each week with a guaranteed 9 cash prizes.
