"Set up in 1992, BATIAS has historically worked with people with learning disabilities however we can also support people with physical and sensory impairments, complex needs and behaviors that challenge. Through the provision of advocacy BATIAS empowers individuals to secure their rights obtain services and make positive, informed choices about their lives."
BATIAS provides Formal, and Self Advocacy in South Essex, this includes the Unitary Authorities of Southend and Thurrock.
