BATIAS was set up in 1992 to help people with learning disabilities who were moving from large hospital facilities into their local communities. | |
BATIAS now provides advocacy to people with learning disabiities and also supports young people and adults with physical and sensory impairments, complex needs and behaviours that challenge. | |
BATIAS provides a variety of advocacy support which empowers our clients to secure their rights, and obtain services. | |
BATIAS' aim is for our clients to be able to make positive, informed choices about their lives. | |
BATIAS provides Formal Advocacy, and Self Advocacy groups in South Essex, this includes Southend and Thurrock. | |
